WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN OBSERVER'S BADGE BY CARL DELIUS W/STICK PIN

This is an extremely fine World War I Prussian Observer Badge with stick pin that is in excellent condition. It is of hollow construction with a radiated back plate. The enameled white and black checkered Army Corps tactical symbol on red background is with a few light scratches from actual use but remains flawless otherwise. The Prussian crown at the top and the oak and laurel leaves in the wreath exhibit fine detail. The wide pin and catch assemblies are both present on the reverse side and remain fully functional. The accompanying stick pin is mounted on a straight knurled pin and with nice detail. A beautiful ensemble in excellent, undamaged condition.
